jo ma Such clever construction and fun to totally unzip all the way into one long strip and then zip back together into a pencil pouch! It is very well made and zips smoothly without catching.It also is very functional as a good size pencil case. The pencil bag part measures about 5 1/2" by 9".My granddaughter doesn't like scarry looking things but no problem because I will offer to trim off the teeth and eyes if she wants me to. The way the teeth & eyes are attached, it will be easy to carefully trim them off with sizzors - it will still look great, and she'll still be able to unzip it all the way and zip it back into a pencil bag.If you don't need this to fasten into a 3-ring notebook, this is also available without the 3 loops and as a smaller pouch with the same 'un-zipping' feature.
