Barnaby I got this storage case to store all of the household batteries in and while it's not perfect for the job, it works about as well as I was expecting and is actually really nice for a pencil case. It's really sturdy, with more rigidity than my padded camera cases, which is impressive and the camo pattern looks really nice and keeps it from being bland. I also like how the top is transparent so it's easy to see what's inside without having to open the case. The zipper feels strong and is smooth in use and the case just feels very tough and durable in general. I imagine it'd work just fine holding pencils and pens but it also makes for a solid general purpose storage case.

Andrea C. While i don't use these for pencils, it is a very good storage case. It is built durably and i feel it could with stand being in a backpack for extended times and still work. I love that the top is clear and the colors are well defined.

Thru_the_looking_glass This holds a lot of colored pencils and I love the clear lid so I can quickly see what's inside but it still has cute designs and colors on the bottom. The zipper works easily and it's a good quality case I feel.

customer review This pencil case has a large capacity. I love the clear top, it makes it easy for me to find what I'm looking for in my case. It holds a ton of supplies. It's a solid case so it's not going to get smashed even in a full backpack. The heart design is cool. When I'm working on something, this case folds open and supplies can be sorted into both sides, so it works well for art supplies.
